Local company looking for new talent

We are a small established Chico CPA firm seeking a full-time CPA/Accountant with income tax, auditing, and accounting experience. This is not an entry level position. The qualified candidate should have a minimum of three years experience working in a CPA firm. We are seeking an applicant looking for a long term placement with future potential for growth.

The applicant will primarily be responsible for preparing tax returns and financial statements (compilations, reviews, and audits). The applicant will also prepare projections and assist with related research and tax planning. Our clients include individuals, corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, estates and trusts.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current California CPA license
• 4 Year Degree in Accounting or Finance
• A minimum of three years related experience
• Proficiency in MS Office, Lacerte, and QuickBooks
• Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Strong, self-directed work ethic

Preference will be given to applicants with these characteristics:

• Strong professional references
• MBA/ MS Tax
• Experience in a small public accounting firm

Salary based on experience and will be at market rates. We offer an excellent compensation package including a company 401(k) plan, profit sharing, health insurance, and paid vacation and sick time.
